For twelve years, Carol has provided the direction and inspiration for the Virginia Tech Dietetic Internship Programs of eight interns each at two locations in Blacksburg and Northern Virginia. Her varied professional career in research, outpatient counseling, cardiac rehabilitation and clinical dietetics provided an excellent backdrop for her current role in guiding and mentoring future Registered Dietitians. Carol has served the Virginia Dietetic Association and the Southwest District in several capacities over many years and volunteers her time and expertise to the local Blacksburg community as well.
