Volunteer Opportunity for Nutrition EducationVirginia Cooperative Extension is recruiting volunteers to deliver nutrition education to limited-income groups in Roanoke and the New River Valley. Extension would love to have SW-VA Dietetic Association members volunteer as we are already experts on the information provided.
Virginia Cooperative Extension will train volunteers on the specific curriculum materials, provide volunteer position description, and identify places in the community near you to provide participants nutrition education. It is a very minimal training and you can donate as many hours or as little hours as you have time for.

We invite clinicians and researchers to register for the second free webinar in NCI's Frontiers in Nutrition and Cancer Prevention Series. Experts in the field of nutrition will update you on the role of vitamin D, from dietary guidelines to clinical research to basic science
