Greetings! As the president of the Southwest Virginia Dietetic Association, I am proud to represent our district of nutrition experts. Our mission is to empower Southwest Virginia’s Registered Dietitians to be the nutrition leaders. I am excited and honored to be the president of 2009-2010 and am looking forward to a great year with many members, informative meetings and the progression of our profession. Our goals for this year are to become more involved with the community, prove the value of membership, stay updated through our website and increase the public’s awareness of registered dietitians.
Thanks to Beth Barnett-Boebel for putting together a fantastic website!
Enjoy!
Cheers to your health,
Dorothy Shaver, RD, LD/N
